Peloponnese beautiful place, beautiful properties

The Peloponnese, one of Greece's most beautiful regions, has recently become a popular hotspot for purchasing property abroad. Although prices have increased here the property prices are still reasonable in the region.
One of the major advantages of the Peloponnese region is that it is easily accessible all year round from Athens, Kalamata has its own airport which is open from May to October, that makes it possible to provide tourism and recreational services to a large part of the capital's population with great ease. With the new motorway the journey only takes few hours. Athens, the capital of Greece is populated by over a third of the country’s whole population and has plenty of culture with museums, concerts, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Kalamata has its own airport which is open from May to October.
Peloponnese peninsular has the majority of Greece’s best archaeological sites including Olympia, Mycenae, Ancient Messini, Corinth, Mystra and Epidavros. It also offers some of the most stunning landscapes, from the barren crags of the Mani and softer contours of Messinia to the forested peaks and flower-blanketed pastures of Arcadia. There are an abundance of dramatic mountains with fertile plains between them where Mediterranean vegetation, olives, vines, cereals, and fruit trees grow.
Many wealthy Athenians choose Peloponnese as the location to purchase second homes where they can relax and enjoy the slower pace of village life. Overseas investors are also buying properties at bargain prices as there are still plenty of old stones houses for sale, full of charm and character in traditional Greek villages to choose from. The Peloponnese is an ideal place to relax and experience the rapidly disappearing rural village life in Greece.
It has become a priority to finally develop and exploit these advantages and this is why today the necessary road network infrastructure is being created, protecting the natural environment, restoring historical and archaeological monuments, and taking measures to reinforce investments and to improve agricultural activities.
