Sterling to Euro exchange rate has seen a slight recovery with an increase from 1.08 from the beginning of April to the heady heights of 1.1350 last week, this week seeing it open at slightly under 1.13 Euros to the GBP.

Spanish Bank, Banco Pastor are entering the mortgage market with offerings to non residents of up to 70% LTV which a good sign and encouraging for borrowers.

My view of today’s marketplace remains the same there is no better time to buy than now, I can here you all say well of course he would say that he is an Estate Agent !! but seriously my view is with some of the prices we have on some properties today we will never be able to beat them.

Summer destinations in Greece

Zakynthos:
The splendid Country impresses the visitor with the landscape and the monuments. The wonderful golden beaches entertain apart from the visitors and infrequent turtles Kareta-Kareta.

This small islet is found in the heart of Argosaronikos. It has an abundance of spotless, cool waters and innumerable attractive creeks with sand or pebble that will satisfy anybody.

Poros:
An island with a unique picturesqueness, a serene place that was praised by Seferis and Henry Miler and continues charming every visitor.

Spetses:
Spetses claims not only our weekends but also our full holidays. Picturesqueness, nobility, history, night life, Spetses have it all and is so close to mainland. The first picture that we are faced with when reaching in the island of Spetses is the historical harbour and capital of island, Ntapia, with the imposing neoclassical buildings and laid with pebbles little alleys.

Ydra:
Ydra is considered the most cosmopolitan island of Saronikos. Her unique charm attracts big number of visitors not only during the summertime but all year round.
